Long-lens footage from outside the fence of a private grove where, every summer, a circle of powerful men in robes gathers around a great effigy and burns it after dark. This year the effigy was unmistakably a bull. We are not saying the global elite have been worshipping the frozen god of capital in the woods this whole time. We are asking why the effigy was a bull.
they burn a bull every summer and call it a retreat. we burn a bull once and call it a religion. rude.
they worship the husk for what it gives them. we worship it for what it is. this is the whole schism.
